Do not know if NYAF will get full con report, as the con itself was -- not great. Overcrowded and overpriced ($4 for a bottle of water!), under-paneled, Javitt Center kicking people out at seven and ten on Friday and Saturday respectively, and even the supposed big draw of the con, the dealer's room, didn't have a whole lot I was interested in. My first Katsu, and I don't think it'll be my last. Photoshoot stuff will come in the days to follow, though there are a few videos under the cut. America and England costumes were a huge hit, the Sei and Sub TB outfits got a good workout, and even the hideous masq costumes led to something pretty spectacular. So mithrigil and I will be cosplaying Tsuzuki and Hisoka from Yami no Matsuei at Otakon on Friday.
